Terms and Conditions

Effective October 2, 2026 · Version 2026-10-02

1. Adult household accounts

To create a household account, you must confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, reside in the United States, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. These confirmations are self-declarations; the service does not verify age or collect identity documents for this purpose.

Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not use another person's account or give others your password.

2. Parent responsibility and invitations

The parent or adult household Organizer is responsible for determining who is eligible to be invited and carries sole responsibility for their invitation decisions and the information they choose to share with invited members. Invited members do not complete a separate age check.

Before inviting someone, obtain any consent or authority required by applicable law, including parental or guardian consent where required. Review the member's role and record visibility before sharing information. Use the app's supported member-management controls to change access.

An invitation is not independently verified parental consent. These responsibilities do not waive anyone's statutory rights or remove obligations imposed on the service by applicable law.

Invited members may access only the household and information permitted by their membership. Becoming an Organizer requires the adult and U.S.-residency confirmations and acceptance of these terms and invitation responsibilities.

3. Financial records and service use

EZ Family Money Manager helps households organize financial information. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Review calculations, imported transactions, AI suggestions, reports, and documents before relying on them.

Only enter or upload information you are authorized to use and share. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for unlawful activity. Keep copies of records you need.

Bank connections and payments are optional third-party services, subject to their applicable terms. The Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information and which providers it uses.

4. Plans, cancellation, and records

Review the price, renewal terms, and trial details displayed before subscribing. Organizers can use Plan & exports to manage a household plan and supported exports.

Cancelling a subscribed plan or trial keeps household access available until the stated access-end time, followed by the stated 30-day export period. Household cleanup occurs after that deadline and may require retries. Export records you need before the deadline.

Cancellation does not automatically delete your personal sign-in account or another household's records. Contact support@ezfamily.org for questions or requests outside the app's controls.

5. Intellectual property

The app's software, branding, and original content are owned by Michael Nesmith or their respective licensors. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of those materials. You retain any rights you have in the records and content you provide. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

6. Policy updates and contact

When these terms or the Privacy Policy change, the app may require you to review and accept the current version before opening the household workspace. Optional email choices remain separate from acceptance.

Questions about these terms or household access may be sent to support@ezfamily.org.
